Directions for 3-2-1 Activity

• You'll work with 3–4 people.. (Kevin will show you who the teams are.)

• Each team member will read one of the sections about collaborative action research.

......You'll have about 10–15 minutes to review your handout.

• While you look at the handout, take notes on the following to share with your team:

......3. Summarize three key ideas from the handout.

......2. Write two questions you still have about collaborative action research.

......1. Write one insight or interesting idea you've had about collaborative action research since the session began.

• After about 10–15 minutes of "research" you will share your 3-2-1 notes with your team.

• After you finish sharing, the whole team will develop a group response to the same three questions:

......3. summarize three key features/characteristics of collaborative action research.

......2. Write two questions you still have about collaborative action research for teaching.

......1. Write one insight insight or interesting idea you've had about collaborative action research since this activity began.

• When Kevin tells you to do so, each team can select a member to enter the information on their group's page (see the navigation menu at the left).
